Any time Sammy sings my songs, she brings something special and magical to the session. In fact, her vocal performance on the original pop version of “Everything Is Awesome” was so great you can easily hear the influence in Tegan and Sara’s cool vocal performance on the final pop version. Sammy sang this beautiful lower harmony that just killed the track; her initial vocal performance was something that resonated with and convinced everyone.
